Finally got German, Italian & Japanese Fighters Of World War 2!!! One of the few Small Salamanders i was still missing, in fact i think there are just 4 left to procure. They are rather elusive though but as was this one and i got it in the end. Book #77!
The second edition of the Osprey Battles of World War 2 part-work series is full price but includes 2 books : France 1940 and Denmark and Norway 1940. So for about 10 pounds i've managed to procure 3 Campaign series. Usually they retail for about 14 pounds! Books #75 and 76 anyway.
Two more books procured from Ebay were received today, both were published in the late 1970s but otherwise are quite different. F-4 Phantom is this month's MCA and is book #73. Jane's Naval Armament is the first Jane's pocket guide picked up for some time and is book #74.
Two more books came today from Ebay, books #71 and 72. The first Armoured Fighting Vehicles Of The World (2nd Edition) is quite ordinary but very worthy. Interestingly it has been signed by the author Christopher Foss. The first signed book i think i have, not that i really go for that kind of this. The second book is something special, Combat Fleets has always been the ultimate in quality but my copies date from the late 70s and mid-80s but now i have entered the 1990s! Combat Fleets Of The World 1993 has joined the collection and immediately joins the elite.
