The Monkees - pool it!

CD #62 is by The Monkees, with whom i am having a bit of a renaissance at the moment. This is the first of 2 "comeback" albums they released in the 1980s and indeed does sound very 80s. At times it sounds more A-Ha than The Monkees but has some great synth pop moments. Awesome.

Big and small Salamander

Two new books were procured yesterday via Ebay, both published in 1981 both by Salamander though one was quite big and the other quite small! The Balance Of Military Power is what we call a "Big Salamander" and is book #88 and Air War Over Vietnam is the latest small Salamander and is book #89 of course. Not including updated editions i think that leaves me with just 3 of the Small Salamander series still to get!

The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper...

CD #61 is the Beatles' (probably) best-known and best-loved album. Actually i did get it for my birthday a few weeks ago but it was playing in my car when i had an accident and thus the CD was stuck in the car while it was being repaired. Yesterday i got car... and CD back!

Amadeus - veceras

CD #60 (albiet a downloaded album off iTunes) is by awesome Serbian band Amadeus. Fantastic doesn't even scratch the surface. I also found my favourite song of their's (not on this album) on Youtube. Ultra win!

October 09 book report

Seven books were procured in October, 4 off Ebay and 3 New. Naval had 3, Modern History 2 and one each for Air and Land.
